One of Nigeria's representatives in this year's CAF Champions League, Sunshine Stars, Akure arrived Luanda, the capital of Angola for their 2nd Round match against Recreativo do Libolo on Friday morning.
It was a great relief for a club that could not secure visa to the Equatorial African nation despite having requested since last week.

Immigrations officials at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport were stunned but promised to ensure that visa is issued the entire team before the match.

Sunshine Stars were well received by officials of Libolo the club which eliminated South Africa's Orlando Pirates 4-2 on aggregate.

Players of Sunshine Stars immediately retired to their hotel, Hotel Relaxe, not far from the airport.

However, they still must travel to Calulo, venue of Sunday's match on Saturday for the game. Calulo, the capital of Cuenza Sul Province hosted the 1st Round, 2nd tie against Pirates on March the 3rd.

Sunshine Stars party is made up of 30 players and officials including Chairman, Ondo State House Committee on Sports, Olakunle Olujuyigbe, Ondo State Football Agency boss Segun Adagunodo, Club Technical Director Mike Idoko, NFF.

Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona will captain the team which also has former Al-Ittihad, Libya striker, Izu Azuka, Ajani Ibrahim, Moses Ocheje and many of those that featured for the team in last year's CAF Confederation Cup.
